Notts County have announced the signing of midfielder Garry Thompson on a one-year deal.
Thompson becomes the Magpies ninth new arrival this summer and he joins on a free transfer after leaving Bradford. The 33-year-old has made over 500 appearances in all competitions, which have come for Morecambe, Scunthorpe and the Bantams. He played 46 times in all competitions for City last season, as they finished eleventh in their first season back in League One. Thompson was a key part of their promotion and League Cup run in the previous year. Thompson has a wealth of promotions on his CV and he will be hoping he can add to that tally in the coming season with Shaun Derry's men.
