Sky Bet Championship club Cardiff have terminated the contract of midfielder Guido Burgstaller by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old arrived from Rapid Vienna in the summer but played just three times for the Championship outift and has now been given the chance to find a new club.
A club statement on Monday morning read: "Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Guido Burgstaller's contract has been terminated by mutual agreement. The player leaves Cardiff City with immediate effect.
We would like to thank Guido for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future."
