Latest under our scout's gaze is Real Sociedad's Inigo Martinez - recommended by Sky Sports reader Mark Green.
Inigo Martinez is emerging as one of the best young defenders in Spain, so we check on the talent emerging from Real Sociedad.
Born in Ondarroa, Martinez began playing with local side Aurrera before being spotted by Real's youth scouts.
In 2009 he was dispatched to Real's B set-up and he played over 50 matches for them before being promoted to the first team earlier this year.
Martinez made his senior debut in August and has quickly established himself in Philippe Montanier's first team.
Over the past six months, Martinez has also been called up the Spanish Under 20 and Under 21 squads - which has only added to his growing reputation.
The composed left-footer, Martinez's reading of the game is top class and one of his main attributes but, given he is less than 6ft, that is essential, although he is still very good in the air.
He has been likened to Carles Puyol, mainly because of their similar stature, but their style of play is not dissimilar either as both are physical and can equally play at full-back.
Martinez is a high-calibre defender, and his rapid progress in recent months has projected him into the thinking of some of Spain's top clubs.
Barcelona are understood to have been keeping close tabs on Martinez for over 12 months with a view to taking him to Camp Nou.
Martinez looks to have a huge future, but that looks unlikely to be with Real Sociedad.
