Latest under our scout's gaze is Argentine starlet Leonel Galeano - recommended by Sky Sports reader Carlos Bravo.

The scout reports...

Independiente defender Leonel Galeano is emerging as one of the top defensive prospects in Argentine football - we check out his progress.

Buenos Aries-born Galeano has spent his whole career with his hometown club Independiente, who he joined as a young boy.

Galeano was handed his first-team debut in 2009 and has gone on to become a cornerstone of the side.

His progress has also been recognised by Argentina - indeed in 2010 he was handed his debut by the full national side in a friendly against Jamaica, which featured players solely from the domestic league.

Indeed Galeano's senior debut came before his debut for the youth side. He made his first appearance for the country's Under-20 side early in 2011.

Galeano is now being strongly linked with a move to Europe after a series of impressive displays - but he is ready for that?

Galeano is a very impressive defender, although standing at just 6ft, he is more than a solid stature of a player who will not be bullied.

In Argentina he has been likened to Walter Samuel, not just because of his similar build but because of their play.

As well as possessing the physical attributes, Galeano has excellent skill to go with his natural positional ability.

The pacey stopper also has an eye for goal, and some see his future even as a holding midfielder.

The scout says...

A very interesting young player who has all the attributes to make it in Europe.

He is gaining first-team football in Argentina, but away from Argentina now looks inevitable.
