Latest under our scout's gaze is Racing Santander starlet Sergio Canales - recommended by Sky Sports reader Marcel Purdham.
Having scored both goals in a recent 2-1 win over Sevilla, Racing Santander's Sergio Canales is being heralded as La Liga's big new hope.
We check out the latest prospect from La Liga and see if he as good as some say.
Canales is slender, typical of his mere 18 years of age - but he isn't as diminutive as some think, although there is no doubt room for him to grow into a powerful figure.
But no matter what his size, his skills are already maturing wonderfully.
Naturally left-footed, Canales has abilities that appear well beyond his years and he has proved that in recent weeks at Santander.
Canales glides with ease around the pitch and in Spain they have likened him to Guti, which isn't an unfair comparison, but you can also see a touch of Robert Pires in there too, and he is a highly-gifted attacking midfielder.
Canales is far from the finished product, as not many 18-year-olds are, but he already possesses enough quality for him to shine in the few La Liga games he has played.
His passing and vision are very good and his willingness to break from midfield into the box is sure to become a trademark of his game.
Canales is being tracked closely by Real Madrid and Racing are struggling to tie him down to a new contract.
A move in the summer could very well beckon, although the player himself admitted he needs regular first-team football at his age, so remaining at Racing could be the best thing for him.
