Latest under our scout's gaze is Inter Milan defender Davide Santon - recommended by Sky Sports reader James Thornton.
A truly outstanding prospect, Davide Santon is one of the best young defenders in world football.
The 18-year-old has made a rapid rise through the ranks at Inter Milan, and he is already a full international.
Born near Ravenna, he began his footballing life with his local club before joining Inter's famed academy at the age of 14.
Originally a winger, he was soon converted into an attacking full-back - equally at home on the right or left.
His potential was soon spotted by Inter coach Jose Mourinho - who handed him his first-team debut just days after his 18th birthday.
Now less than nine months later, Santon is a first-team regular and is also part of Marcello Lippi's first-team squad.
Lippi has branded Santon as the new 'Paolo Maldini' but a better likeness would more likely be with Inter legend Giuseppe Bergomi.
Santon is a modern full-back, full of pace and attacking intent. But this youngster can tackle, and is very good at it - precise and composed, he rarely dives in with a rash challenge.
Santon is full of quality and he plays like a player way beyond his 18 years. Having made his debut so early, he looks to have the world at his feet.
Like with Bergomi and Maldini, who he has been likened too, he could very well spend his entire career playing with the same club at the top-level.
