Latest under our scout's gaze is Lech Poznan striker Robert Lewandowski. - recommended by Sky Sports reader Phil Ostrowski.
Robert Lewandowski has made stunning progress in recent seasons and has now emerged as Poland's most dangerous and in-demand striker.
Just two years ago he was finishing the year as top-scorer in Poland's third tier. 12 months on from that he finished top of the goal-scoring charts again, this time in the first division.
His performances by this time with unfashionable Znicz Pruszkow caught the attention of most of the nation's top clubs and he was snapped up by Lech Poznan.
And it is little surprise that this year the 20-year-old is challenging to be top-scorer in Poland's top-flight.
The tallish marksman has all the attributes needed for a top striker. He has a wonderful eye for goal and anywhere around the box he will shoot. His excellent close control and skill allow him to make room for himself and he is never afraid to shoot, and why wouldn't he given the venom with which he can strike a ball.
He always seems to be in the right place at the right time, the mark of any good striker, and is capable of being the 'fox in the box' when needed.
He goal-scoring ability was spotted by Leo Beenhakker and he called him up to the Polish squad for his debut in September last year - just six months after his first appearance for the Under-21s. He came of the bench to score against San Marino - not a feat that is new to Lewandowski, who has been dubbed the 'Debut Man' in Poland.
He scored on his debut appearance in each of the three leagues he has played, he also scored on his first Polish cup appearance and also on his debut when playing in the Uefa Cup for Lech - together with his international goal that is six debut goals in senior football, and he still isn't 21.
The more you see of Lewandowski, the more you are convinced he could be something special.
Strength, pace, skill and he can finish. Another 12 months or so in Poland and surely Europe's elite will be banging Lech's door down to snap him up.
