Sky Sports Scout is our exciting new feature where we scour the globe looking out for the best talent and bringing you a report on what we find.

Our Scout will report back and you can comment on what you think of our appraisal.

Also, if you want to nominate somebody to feature, please get in touch using the form below.

Up this week for the scout is River Plate's Diego Buonanotte who was recommended by Sky Sports reader Chris Brown.

The scout reports...

There must be something in the water in Argentina as the South American nation continues to produce a seemingly endless conveyor belt of promising playmakers. Looking to follow in the famous footsteps of compatriots such as Diego Maradona, Fernando Redondo, Pablo Aimar and Lionel Messi, much is expected of Diego Buonanotte.

The 20-year-old shot to stardom when he was handed a shock full debut for River in the Super Clasico against bitter rivals Boca Juniors, having previously only made two substitute appearances. However, a commanding showing in the biggest club game his country has to offer ensured Buonanotte quickly established himself as a first team regular.

His low of centre of gravity, coupled with the customary Latin dribbling ability, allow him to ghost past defenders in a manner which at times defies logic. Although not prolific, he has a keen eye for a goal and has already earned a reputation for favouring the spectacular over the tap-in.

He may have a star-studded list of talent in front of him at present as he attempts to forced his way into his country's national team, but he was part of the Argentinean squad which won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a big-money move to Europe in the near future would appear to be a forgone conclusion.

The scout says...

Buonanotte is already a superstar in his homeland but is yet to appear on the radar of Europe's top clubs. Expect that situation to change sooner rather than later, with the youngster destined to become the latest South American import to arrive in the Spanish Primera Liga.
