Latest under our scout's gaze is Benfica's Nelson Oliveira - recommended by Sky Sports reader Terry Southern.
Nelson Oliveira has been regarded as one of Portugal's finest prospects since his early teens.
Now at 20, he has been called into their Euro 2012 squad and we check on the Benfica striking starlet.
Oliveira began playing for youth side Santa Maria when he was just eight and when he was 12 he was taken on by Braga.
Within just a few years, word of Oliveira's potential had spread with top clubs in Portugal and Europe jockeying for his signature. Chelsea offered him a trial, but he opted for Benfica - the club he supported as a child.
His progress continued in Benfica's youth system, as well as with Portugal's youth sides - where he has played from every level from Under 16s.
In 2010 he was sent out on loan for a taste of senior action as he joined Rio Ave for a 10-game spell. Last season he spent the entire campaign with Pacos de Ferreira.
Although he only scored four goals during his spell at the Estadio Mata Real - he performed well and impressed a number of onlookers.
Last summer saw him travel with Portugal's Under-20 squad to the World Cup and he had an excellent time in Colombia, helping his country to second place, claiming the Silver Ball for the runner-up in Player of the Tournament.
As expected, he was then brought into the first-team fold at Benfica at the start of this term and made his debut in October for the Eagles.
He has since become more and more involved in Jorge Jesus' squad and he came to prominence in March this year, scoring the winning goal in their UEFA Champions League clash with Zenit St Petersburg - which took them through to the quarter-finals.
Barcelona and Chelsea, again, are reported to be keeping close tabs on Oliveira, despite the fact he is anything but prolific thus far in his career.
At over 6ft, Oliveira has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic whilst you could easily also compare him to Nuno Gomes.
Despite his physical presence, Oliveira moves well and as his record at youth level shows he does have an eye for goal and is a clinical finisher on his day.
Clearly a huge talent, having done enough to work his way into Portugal's squad for Euro 2012.
Unlikely to make an impact at Poland and Ukraine, but looks to have a huge future ahead of him if he continues to progress at Benfica.
