Victoria Azarenka: Has questions over her form after long injury lay-off

Azarenka has slipped down the rankings after a season marred by injury but cannot be discounted ahead of Wimbledon.

The Belarusian has won two grand slam titles in her career so far, both of which have been earned at the Australian Open, and before her lay-off was establishing herself as the second best player in the world.

She was beaten in the Melbourne quarter-finals this year and was then forced onto the sidelines after aggravating a foot injury at Indian Wells.

The two-time US Open finalist did not return to the court until the week before Wimbledon, even then only managing to play one match as she was dumped out in the first round at Eastbourne.

Azarenka has reached the Wimbledon semi-finals twice - in 2011 and 2012 - losing to the eventual champion on each occasion.

Known for her loud 'grunting' on court, Azarenka looks to attack from the baseline and has the power to succeed on grass.
