Two modern greats go head-to-head again on Friday at the French Open when Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal meet in the men's semi-finals.

Murray will be looking to reach his first-ever final at Roland Garros but, standing in his way, is perhaps the greatest clay-court player the game has ever seen.

Nadal is already an eight-time champion in Paris and has made ominous progress in his bid for an unprecedented ninth title.

The Spaniard has won 14 of the pair's previous 19 meetings and will be hot favourite to prevail again.

But Murray served notice he is more than capable of upsetting the odds when pushing the Spaniard all the way in their most recent meeting on the red dirt in Rome last month.

Relive that match by watching the video above and prepare yourself for another chapter in an intense rivalry.
