As Andy Murray and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga meet in the Wimbledon semis, we look at their previous meetings.

Andy Murray and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will meet in the semi-finals at Wimbledon with the Scot looking to become the first British man since Bunny Austin in 1938 to reach the Wimbledon men's singles finals. Here, Sky Sports looks at Murray's previous matches against the entertaining Frenchman.

2007, METZ, HARD, MURRAY WON 6-3 6-3

Tsonga was in his breakthrough year after struggling with injuries early in his career but Murray proved too good, winning their quarter-final comfortably and going on to reach the final.

2008, AUSTRALIAN OPEN, HARD, TSONGA WON 7-5 6-4 0-6 7-6

Murray was a huge favourite, with Tsonga still not a household name and unseeded. But the powerful Frenchman blew Murray off court and then backed it up by going all the way to the final, where he lost to Novak Djokovic.

2009, MONTREAL, HARD, MURRAY WON 6-4 7-6

Murray got back to winning ways against Tsonga in Canada with a tight semi-final victory before going on to beat Juan Martin del Potro in the final.

2010, WIMBLEDON, GRASS, MURRAY WON 6-7 7-6 6-2 6-2

Their only previous meeting at Wimbledon came in the quarter-finals two years ago, and it was a match very similar to Murray's victory over David Ferrer yesterday. Tsonga won the first set and could have won the second as well, but he left a Murray return that dropped in when he could have put away a simple volley to hand the home favourite a set point, and from there it was pretty much one-way traffic.

2010, SHANGHAI, HARD, MURRAY WON 6-2 6-2

Their next meeting, also a quarter-final, was more straightforward for Murray, who was in fine form and won the Masters Series tournament without dropping a set, beating Roger Federer in the final.

2011, QUEEN'S CLUB, GRASS, MURRAY WON 3-6 7-6 6-4

The pair's last match came in the final at Queen's last year, which was delayed until the Monday because of rain. Tsonga began better but Murray turned things around to collect his second title at the Wimbledon warm-up event. TOTALS: Murray 5-1 Tsonga
