The 18-year-old, who became the first female singles player to make the fourth round of a Grand Slam in 14 years at the US Open, made her first WTA final by beating world number 30 Sorana Cirstea 6-4 6-2.
In doing so, Robson became Britain's first female finalist in a singles event since Jo Durie in 1990 in Newport, USA, while she will now attempt to become the first winner since Sara Gomer in July 1988 in Aptos, California when she faces world 53 Su-Wei Hsieh.
Robson, who also claimed a silver medal in the Olympics mixed-doubles, has endured similarly infectious success to her doubles partner at the Games, Andy Murray, who ended Britain's 76-year wait for a male Grand Slam winner after becoming the first male singles player to medal at the Olympics in 100 years.
The left-hander's impressive string of results has also seen her cut from 250/1 to 66/1 to win the next Grand Slam, the US Open, while she is now the same price to triumph at Wimbledon.
Sky Bet's tennis trader Ned Brooker said: "Hsieh may be the higher-ranked player in Saturday's final but Robson is our strong favourite due to her remarkable upturn in form.
"Expectations have been cranked up following her efforts at the Olympics and then the US Open and we've seeing plenty of money for a maiden title throughout this week, while she is already being backed to win the Australian Open."
