The clay court tennis swing arrives in Madrid this week for the first of back-to-back ATP Masters 1000 events, live on Sky Sports.

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has chosen to skip this week's tournament which leaves the door open for a different winner of the premium title with the Serb having captured all three so far in 2015.

On Monday, tune into Sky Sports 3 from 12pm for live coverage of a selection of ATP matches including fixtures destined to have plenty of flair as Feliciano Lopez, Fabio Fognini and Marin Cilic take to the Manolo Santana centre court.

Lopez, who is seeded 11th, faces Benjamin Becker in what could be a tricky opening match for the Spaniard. While Fognini, who beat Nadal on the clay of Barcelona two weeks ago, will need to get past Colombia's Santiago Giraldo for a chance to play ether Grigor Dimitrov or Donald Young in the second round.

Closing play on Monday will be reigning US champion Marin Cilic against world No. 36 Jiri Vesely. Cilic has struggled with injuries and for form in 2015 and from the three tournaments he's played in, he's lost in two of his opening matches.
