Bojana Jovanovski ended Shuai Zhang's hopes of winning a second consecutive WTA Tour title on home soil with a 6-7 (5/7) 6-4 6-1 victory in the Yinzhou Bank Open final in Ningbo.

The Chinese No 4, who won her first tour crown in Guangzhou last week, seemed to be on her way when she won the first set in the tiebreaker.

However, the top-seeded Serbian battled back to win the match which lasted two hours and 42 minutes.

Jovanovski wrestled the upper-hand in a match featuring 14 breaks of serve to claim her second career title to add to her Baku Open success in Azerbajian last year.
