Great Britain's Fed Cup future will be decided in Budapest next February.
The Hungarian capital has been selected to host the Europe/Africa Zone Group I that gives countries a chance to qualify for the World Group II play-offs in April.
A total of 17 teams will be in Budapest for the event including a British squad likely to include Heather Watson, Laura Robson, Anne Keothavong and Johanna Konta.
They made it through the same stage last year, beating Portugal, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Bulgaria, but then fell 3-1 to Argentina on their return to the World Group.
The team will again be captained by Judy Murray and could come up against some fairly powerful countries in terms of women's tennis.
Teams from Belgium, Croatia, Holland and Belarus - for whom world No 2 Victoria Azarenka has not played in the last two years - will be attempting to block Britain's path.
Europe/Africa Group 1 line-up: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Great Britain, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine.
