Evans: Murray has helped me
Dan Evans has been handed some inside information about his opening round opponent Kei Nishikori from defending US Open champion Andy Murray.
The 23-year-old from Birmingham reached the main draw thanks to a straight sets victory over Spain's Adrian Menendez-Maceira.
But in his first grand slam main draw match away from Wimbledon, the British No 3 faces a tough task against the 11th seed from Japan.
And in his preparations for the clash, Evans has been receiving some much needed advice from Murray.
"We're sort of close to each other in the locker room so he told me a few things about him."

"We're sort of close to each other in the locker room so he told me a few things about him," the 179th-ranked Evans told Sky Sports News.
"He practised with him the day before yesterday for two hours so he had a good look and told me quite a few things."
But Evans also admitted that he has already been keeping a close eye on the highly-rated Japanese speedster.
"I've watched him quite a lot on Sky Sports at home," he said.
"He'll obviously try and be aggressive and be on top of me a lot and try and use his forehand, but I think I've got a pretty good game that can sort of counter-attack that, so it should be a pretty good match."
Evans takes on Nishikori in the first match on Court 13 on Monday.
