Marcel Granollers came from behind to beat Juan Monaco in Austria to claim a fourth ATP tour title
Marcel Granollers won a fourth career ATP title by defeating second seed Juan Monaco 0-6 7-6 6-4 in the bet-at-home Cup on Saturday.
The victory gives the 53rd-ranked Spaniard his first title since beating Monaco in Valencia two years ago and he has now triumphed in four of his six finals appearances.
Monaco, who won the event in 2007, took the upper hand when he broke Granollers' first service game, with a winner virtue of the net cord, before adding two more breaks to win the opening set inside 23 minutes.
Granollers seized his first break point opportunity to go 5-3 up in the second but failed to serve out the set before finally clinching the tiebreak to restore parity.
The 27-year-old surrendered a 4-0 lead in the deciding set as Monaco fought his way back into the match, only to concede match point on his own serve as Granollers wrapped up the victory.
