Serena Williams dropped just two games as she strolled into the semi-finals of the Swedish Open in Bastad on Friday.

The world No 1 broke her 54th ranked Spanish opponent Lourdes Dominguez Lino three times in each set to ease through 6-1 6-1.

The American remains unbeaten on clay this season after winning 26 straight matches, including a perfect run on the way to her second French Open title and 16th Grand Slam singles crown.

She will next meet Klara Zakopalova in the last four after the third seed from the Czech Republic defeated Dutch hope Richel Hogenkamp 6-2 6-3.

Meanwhile, home favourite Johanna Larsson reached the last four as she eased to a comfortable 6-1 6-2 victory against last year's finalist Mathilde Johansson from France.

The 2011 runner-up from Sweden will next take on Italy's Flavia Penneta for a place in the final after she overcame Frenchwoman Virginie Razzanno 6-1 6-3.
