Fernando Verdasco came from behind to reach the final of the SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad, where he will face Carlos Berlocq.

Spain's Verdasco, seeded eighth in the clay-court tournament, held off a strong challenge from fifth-seeded Grigor Dimitrov to continue the fine form he showed at Wimbledon.

The 29-year-old came from behind and broke the Bulgarian's serve in the third set to win 7-6 (3) 5-7 7-5.

Argentina's Berlocq overcame the challenge of giant-killer Thiemo De Bakker of the Netherlands in Saturday's second semi-final

Unseeded De Bakker, who upset top seed Tomas Berdych to reach the semi-finals, had never made the final of an ATP World Tour event before and his wait continues following a 7-5 6-3 defeat.
