Svetlana Kuznetsova has pulled out of next week's Wimbledon Championships with an abdominal injury.
The Russian, three times a quarter-finalist, was due to be 26th seed for the third Grand Slam event of the year.
Her withdrawal means Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic becomes the 32nd seed to fill the gap.
Kuznetsova has been in excellent form this season after dropping some way down the world rankings.
She reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open and French Open and was knocked out by the eventual champion on both occasions in Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams.
The 27-year-old failed to make it past the first round in last year's singles tournament, losing to Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium.
