Alize Cornet warmed up for the French Open with a straight-sets win over Lucie Hradecka to win the Strasbourg International.

Last year's runner-up came through an opening-set tiebreaker, before whitewashing her opponent in the second, sealing a 7-6 (7-4) 6-0 win in one hour and 28 minutes.

Hradecka saved two set points in the 10th game to force another chance but double-faulted at 4-5 in the tie-break and conceded the advantage when Hradecka netted a forehand volley.

The Frenchwoman barely gave Hradecka a sniff thereafter, clinching her third singles title when a backhand from the Czech went awry.
