Murray through to Miami Final
British No 1 Andy Murray was happy with his response after beating Richard Gasquet 6-7 6-1 6-2 in the ATP Sony Open semi-final.
Despite opening strongly in the Miami clash, Murray came up against an inspired opponent in the first set and went down 7-3 in a tie-break.
But the Scot hit back in some style to sweep Gasquet aside in the next two sets to book his spot in the final.
Murray will now play David Ferrer for the title, and should Murray win he will be elevated to World No 2.
"The first set was a tough one to lose," Murray told Sky Sports. "I hit something like 20-odd winners, so to lose it was tough.
"I felt like I was dictating a lot of the points but just made a few unforced errors on the backhand side at the end. I did well in the second and third sets to keep up my intensity.
"He always comes up with unbelievable points. He's incredibly talented.
"In the tie-break he played two pick-ups off his toes for clean winners. He's in the top 10 in the world and he's playing very well."
