Laura Robson: GB into Fed Cup play-off
Great Britain will compete in April's Fed Cup World Group II play-offs after beating Bulgaria on Sunday.
Singles wins for Laura Robson and Heather Watson gave Judy Murray's side the win they craved in Israel.
They will now play again in April when a victory would see them promoted to the second tier of the competition for the 2014 campaign.
Robson got GB off to a flying start against the Bulgarians in their Europe/Africa Zone Group I play-off with a 6-0 6-4 victory over Dia Evtimova.
She had been expected to beat a player ranked more than 200 places below her and after a fast start the outcome was rarely in any doubt.
British number one Heather Watson then took to the court looking to gain the point which would seal victory in the tie.
However, after taking the first game of the match against former Wimbledon semi-finalist Tsvetana Pironkova, Watson lost seven games in a row.
Watson's fightback began midway through the second set when she gained her first break of serve of the match to take a 4-3 lead. Two love holds later and the match was all square.
With the momentum having swung, Watson, up against an opponent ranked three places lower, claimed the first four games of the decider.
There was a slight wobble as Pironkova fought back to 4-2 but Watson simply broke again before serving out for a 1-6 6-4 6-2 victory which sparked jubilant scenes among the British contingent in Eilat.
Murray and co will discover their World Group II play-off opponents when the draw is made on Wednesday morning.
They will be hoping for a home tie - something GB has not had since 1993.
The tie itself will take place on April 20-21.
