Marin Cilic: Will bid for a third title in Zagreb
Top seed Marin Cilic beat defending champion Mikhail Youzhny to reach the final of the Zagreb Indoors tournament.
The Croatian dropped the first set but hit back to see off the fourth seed 4-6 6-4 6-3 and will now bid for a third title in Zagreb.
Cilic received two time violation penalities, once in the opening set and again in the third, but he reeled off the last four games to book his place in the final.
Jurgen Melzer will be his opponent after the fourth seed beat Robin Haase of the Netherlands 7-6 6-3.
The Austrian failed to convert two set points at 5-4 in the first set but comfortably won the tie-breaker.
In the second, Melzer failed to serve out the match at 5-2 but broke again in the next game to clinch the win.
"This is by far my best match here this week," Melzer said. "I felt I was the better player today even though we had to play a tie-breaker."
