Richard Gasquet: Seeking a ninth career title in Montpellier

Richard Gasquet will take on compatriot Benoit Paire in the final of the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.

Gasquet, seeded three, will bid for a ninth career title after defeating Jarkko Nieminen of Finland 6-3 3-6 6-2.

Eighth-seeded Paire, who is chasing his first victory on the ATP Tour, also won in three sets against fellow Frenchman Michael Llodra, 4-6 6-3 6-1.

Paire hammered down 17 aces to Llodra's eight, as he came from a set down to reach only his second career final.
