Andy Murray has confirmed he will compete in this summer's AEGON Championships in west London, when he open his grass court season ahead of Wimbledon.
The 25-year-old will be bidding to win the Queen's Club title for a third time, following victories in 2009 and two years later.
The event will start on Monday, June 10 and the Scot has fond memories of Queen's Club where he won his first ATP Tour match in 2005.
Back then as a teenager he beat Spain's Santiago Ventura for the loss of just three games and went on to reach the last 16 where he was beaten by Swede Thomas Johansson.
He said: "I was only 18 at the time and also had a great match with Thomas Johansson who was in the top 20 at the time, losing 7-5 in the third after two tie-break sets."
As for this year's event, he went on: "The grass courts are as good as anywhere in the world, which is perfect coming a week before Wimbledon."
Johansson, looking back on his game with Murray, added: "He showed that, even at 18, he was for sure a player of the future.
"Now he has matured and become one of the fittest guys out there. He is a brilliant player and will win many more Grand Slam tournaments in the future."
