David Ferrer will be the sole survivor from Spain's winning Davis Cup team when they defend their title against Czech Republic later this month in the 100th edition of the competition.

The world No 5 player will be joined by Nicolas Almagro, as well as doubles specialists Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, for this year's final on hardcourts in Prague from 16-18 November.

Ferrer, Granollers and Lopez are currently competing at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena.

Rafael Nadal is again missing from the side that beat Argentina to win the 2011 crown though, with Spain fielding the same four-man squad that saw off USA in the semi-final.
