Top-ranked Victoria Azarenka made light work of Irina Begu to reach the final of the Linz Open in Austria.
Azarenka dispatched Begu 6-2 6-1 in one hour and 11 minutes to reach a ninth final of the season, Julia Goerges her final obstacle on Sunday.
The world No. 1 from Belarus had not dropped more than two games in a set at the tournament and continued her ruthless streak - once she had dropped her opening serve.
Goerges advanced after a sterner test, coming from behind to beat Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens 1-6 6-2 6-3.
The 19th-ranked German dropped serve three times and double-faulted on one set point but an early break in the second settled her jitters and she dominated the rest of the match.
"Obviously I am the underdog, she is the world No. 1," Goerges said of Sunday's showdown. "I will try to play my own game, focus on myself and show her how dangerous my game can be."
