Chance for second successive Swedish victory for Hercog
Defending champion Polona Hercog will face France's Mathilde Johansson in the Sony Swedish Open final on Sunday.
The 21-year-old comfortably overcame Germany's Mona Barthel in Bastad, with the Slovenian romping to a 6-1 6-3 victory.
Hercog beat Sweden's Johanna Larsson in last year's final and now faces Swedish-born French player Johansson.
The 27-year-old progressed to the final in straight sets, beating Larsson 6-4 6-4.
Tomorrow will be Johansson's second career title match, having finished runner-up at Bogota last year.
