Mikhail Youzhny: Easy winner against lukas Lacko in final of Zagreb Indoors

Sky Bet

Mikhail Youzhny secured a convincing 6-2 6-3 win over Lukas Lacko of Slovakia to take the Zagreb Indoors title.

The 29-year-old clinched the eighth ATP title of his career, and first since his St. Petersburg triumph in 2010, with a dominant performance in the final of the Croatian tournament.

In fact the Russian was on top to such an extent that he faced no break points and lost only 12 points on his own serve.

After both players won their opening service games, Youzhny took eight out of nine games, winning the first set and three games in the second.

Lacko then kept his serve for the rest of the match but the damage had already been done and Youzhny wrap-d up the match in 68 minutes.

"This was my best match of the tournament. I gained some confidence here but I don't want to think about whether I will be in the top 10 again or not," Youzhny said.
