Anne Keothavong continued her run of form by beating top seed Mona Barthel 6-3 7-6 (8/6) to reach the final of the AEGON GB Pro-Series tournament in Barnstaple.

The British number three qualified for the main draws at successive WTA Tour events in Linz and Luxembourg, winning six successive matches to reach the semi-finals in the latter two weeks ago.

And it has been a case of more of the same in Devon from the world number 91, particularly today against German Barthel, who is ranked 17 places higher but could not hold on to a 5-2 lead in the second-set tie-break to force a decider.

Keothavong, who plays Poland's Marta Domachowska in the final, said on Twitter: "Super pleased to win today and be through to the final here in Barnstaple."
