Veteran Muster's comeback ends in defeat

There were no major shocks on the opening day of the Bet-At-Home Cup in Kitzbuhel on Monday. All the big names in action made it through unscathed, with fifth seed Philip Kohlschreiber leading the way, hammering 43-year-old Thomas Muster, on his comeback, 6-3 6-0. Number six seed Andreas Seppi was also victorious, seeing off Denis Istomin 6-2 6-2, while ninth seed Pablo Andujar overcame Lukas Rosol 3-6 6-3 6-3. Victor Henuscu bowed out of the tournament at the first hurdle, though, losing to Pere Riba, but Alberto Montanes got through as he beat Javier Marti. There were also wins for Albert Ramos and Daniel Gimeno-Traver.
