Lukas Rosol defeats Dusan Lajovic in Bucharest

Lukas Rosol kept up his quest to reach a third successive final at the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy after seeing off Dusan Lajovic in Bucharest.

The 2013 champion and this year's fourth seed, Rosol moved past Lajovic 4-6 6-4 6-3 on Wednesday, to set up a quarter-final meeting with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.

Garcia-Lopez dismissed Marcos Baghdatis 7-5 6-2 to set that last-eight battle with Rosol on a day devoid of shocks.

Seventh seed Jiri Vesely dispatched Malek Jaziri 6-3 6-1, ensuring a quarter-final showdown with Ivo Karlovic.
