Walter Trusendi and Elie Rousset banned over match-fixing

Walter Trusendi and Elie Rousset have been banned for violating tennis match-fixing rules.

Trusendi, ranked 425 in the world, has been suspended for six months and fined £3,360, while Rousset was banned for six months - three of those suspended subject to good behaviour - and fined the same amount.

They were sanctioned for their activity at an unidentified event in 2014.

A statement from the International Tennis Federation said both players had admitted violating the rule which states that no player should "directly or indirectly, contrive or attempt to contrive the outcome or any other aspect of any event."
