World No 3 Simona Halep has split with coach Wim Fissette, despite enjoying the best season of her career.
The Romanian confirmed the split on her Facebook page on Thursday, saying she and Fissette had mutually agreed to end their time together.
"It was a very good year. I thank him and wish him every success in the future," she said.
Halep made a big impact on women's tennis in 2014, winning tournaments in Bucharest and Doha before narrowly losing out to Maria Sharapova in the final of the French Open.
She qualified for the season-ending WTA Tour Finals in Singapore last month for the first time in her career, and reached the final there as well, losing to Serena Williams in straight sets.
Before joining up with Halep, Fissette worked with grand slam title winner Kim Clijsters and Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki.
