ATP Vegeta Croatia Open: Heavy rain forces semi-finals to be postponed in Umag

Torrential rain in Umag on Saturday forced the semi-finals of the Vegeta Croatia Open to be postponed.

ATP supervisor Gerry Armstrong officially called off play for the day at 8.41pm local time after rain had fallen throughout the evening.

Sunday's play will begin at 10.30am, with defending champion and second seed Tommy Robredo meeting 2012 champion and home favourite Marin Cilic, who is looking to extend his 15-match winning run on Croatian soil.

The second semi-final features top seed and 2013 runner-up Fabio Fognini against qualifier Pablo Cuevas, who is on an eight-match winning run.
