Grigor Dimitrov will be seeking revenge when he faces Andy Murray in the third round of the Sony Open in Miami on Monday.

The pair met in Australia earlier this year when the young 21-year-old from Bulgaria was contesting the first ATP Tour final of his career.

On that occasion, Murray won 7-6 6-4 to clinch a second successive title at the Brisbane International.

It was the second meeting of their career - both on hard courts - and so far Murray is yet to drop a set.

However, the reigning US Open and Olympic champion will not be underestimating his next opponent who was a semi-finalist at Queen's Club last June.

When the pair met in January, Murray had to save three break points and in the opening set led 5-2 before losing the tie-break 7-0.

In the second set, Dimitrov broke once again to lead 4-3 before succumbing to another Murray fightback.

Dimitrov, the No 29 seed, is regularly tipped as a future Grand Slam champion and was even dubbed 'Baby Fed' because his ground strokes are similar to that of the 17-time major winner.

With a 135 mph serve, one-handed backhand and crisp baseline shots, Dimitrov will always be a tough contender on fast surfaces.

The pair will take to the court early next week with a spot in the last 16 at stake.

Murray, the No 2 seed and winner of the Miami Masters in 2009, is the favourite to go all the way to the final where he is seeded to face the world's leading player Novak Djokovic.
