Celtic hold their nerve
Celtic made it through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League for only the third time on Wednesday, but they were made to sweat by Spartak Moscow on a nervous but ultimately memorable night at Celtic Park.
Having taken an early lead through Gary Hooper, the Bhoys were pegged back by Spartak's Brazilian striker Ari later in the first half.
With Benfica drawing at Barcelona, Celtic knew they needed to find a second-half winner but were still searching with under ten minutes left.
They finally got the break they needed when Georgios Samaras earned them a penalty and it was then down to Kris Commons from 12 yards - the rest, as they say, is history...
