Cheer yourself up on a frosty Friday lunchtime with our favourite video of the year as Marseille's Joey Barton auditions for 'Allo 'Allo! in glorious style.

It's been a while since we sat our GCSE French oral exam but Joey Barton's wondrous show at a Marseille press conference this week brought back the cold sweats.
Channelling the very essence of 'Allo 'Allo's' René Artois in what is surely the performance of his career, Monsieur Barton has never been more verbose or entertaining.
In defending the indefensible Joey went to Twitter to offer: "In my defence, it is very difficult to do a press conference in Scouse for a room full of French journalists. The alternative is to speak like a 'Allo Allo!' character. It's simply a case of you had to be there. #youstupidwomen!'"
If only he would have asked 'Où est la piscine?' our lives would have been complete.
Since dubbed 'Bartonese', Joey's special new hybrid language has been widely mocked but we find it kind of endearing.
Whatever you think about our Englishman abroad you can't say he's not making an effort.
