Sport in school: Take part in our survey

Last Updated: 03/07/14 4:22pm

It's the time of year when schools up and down the country are holding their annual sports days.

As your children prepare to test themselves on the playing fields, Sky Sports News has put together a survey asking for your views on the state of sport in schools.

Is the school sports day a fixture in the education calendar? Does your child enjoy taking part and, if so, do they enjoy a competitive edge to the event?

Does your child's school activity encourage sporting activity? Do they play sport regularly outside of school?

What about the facilities and do you think your local council provides sufficient physical activity opportunities for your child? How do you balance their need to stay active with watching TV and playing video games?

We are keen to hear your thoughts. Please complete the 13 questions and we will bring you the results over the next few weeks.

If you would like to make a specific point regarding the state of sport in schools then please add your comment to the feedback box at the foot of the page.
