The opening leg of the Sky Sports Elite League grand final between Swindon and Poole has been postponed due to a waterlogged track.

Heavy rain has left the Abbey Stadium in no fit state for action, with the spectator area also waterlogged, on Monday night.

The meeting has now been re-arranged for Monday, October 15 with a 7.30pm start time, with the second leg at Poole to take place two days later.

The Robins had clinched their place in the final with a 110-72 aggregate triumph over the Birmingham Brummies.

Defending champions Poole advanced to their third straight final with a comprehensive win over Lakeside Hammers, the Pirates charing to a 108-73 triumph in their two-legged semi-final.
