Elite League bottom team Birmingham Brummies have been handed a boost with the news Adam Skornicki has been released from hospital.
The Polish star suffered a broken hip in a crash in last Thursday's narrow home defeat to King's Lynn which has now been successfully put back into place.
As he recuperates, Skornicki is set to return to Poland for another opinion on the injury before setting a comeback target.
Selco Brummies skipper Danny King admits the Polish ace will be missed as his team take on Eastbourne at Perry Barr on Wednesday night looking for only their third win of the campaign.
King told the team's official website: "Adam is a great guy and it's tough without him - so let's get out there and beat Eastbourne, let's do it for Adam!"
Swindon youngster Nick Morris will deputise for Skornicki against the fourth-placed Eagles.
