League leaders Wolverhampton Wolves were comfortably beaten 53-37 at King's Lynn.

The Stars led from the first heat and never looked like losing to Wolves, who claimed just three heat wins all evening.

Result and scorers:

KING'S LYNN 53

Richie Worrall 18, Niels-Kristian Iversen 12, Simon Stead 9+2, Rory Schlein 7+1, Sebastian Alden 6+1, Andzejs Lebedevs 1, Mads Korneliussen r/r

WOLVERHAMPTON 37

Adam Skornicki 11+1, Freddie Lindgren 10, Scott Nicholls 7, Jacob Thorssell 6+2, Ludvig Lindgren 2+1, Ricky Wells 1+1, Ty Proctor r/r

The undoubted star of the show was 21-year-old Richie Worrall, who claimed a brilliant 18-point haul for the home side.

Niels-Kristian Iversen (12) and Simon Stead (9+2) also scored heavily as King's Lynn collected three league points, which takes them up to second.

Polish racer Adam Skornicki top scored for the Monmore men as he bagged double-figures for the second time this week, whilst Fredrik Lindgren also made ten but it was not to be for the league leaders.

Wolves boss Peter Adams said: "It's a disappointing result, and that's the second away meeting in a row we've met a reserve who has scored almost 20 points.

"He was obviously the difference between the sides - but you can't expect much more whilst we have such a patched up team."
