Poole Pirates have confirmed the signing of former World Under-21 champion Maciej Janowski.
The Polish ace known as 'Magic' comes in on a full transfer from rivals Swindon Robins, having spent last season on-loan with King's Lynn Stars.
Poole also revealed that Rohan Tungate would be taking up a role in the side, in a double-up switch from Ipswich Witches.
"Both 'Magic' and Rohan have two qualities we look for in riders at Poole," said Poole chief Matt Ford.
"They are both young with huge potential and hopefully the ability to improve their starting averages next season.
"Janowski has joined us in a straight swap with Jason Doyle. Doyley made no secret during 2012 that switching to Robins was the best thing he had done, so we are delighted for all parties to make it a full transfer.
"I have always been hugely impressed with Magic. He starts with us on a 6.13 average and I know he will be keen to challenge the likes of Chris and Darcy for a slot in the nominated Heat 15!
"Bringing in a rider who wants to ride for the club, has proven ability on the international stage and is still young enough to develop even more can only be a good for us and it once again makes us a very exciting team.
"Rohan has effectively only been a speedway rider for about 18 months - but is quickly making up for lost time.
"He has tried many two-wheeled disciplines but has settled on speedway. I am confident he will prove a quality doubling up rider to have."
