The Elite League Grand Final second leg between Poole and Swindon has been postponed until Friday.

The second leg should have taken place on Wednesday night but heavy rain is forecast and that means it will now be staged on Friday at Wimborne Road.

Poole find themselves 51-44 down from the first leg as they try to secure a second straight title, whilst the visitors are trying to win their first championship since 1967.

Pirates promoter Matt Ford said: "It is never nice to have to call a meeting off, especially when the weather is pleasant, as it is here in Poole right now.

"But we have been monitoring all the forecasts and it paints a very gloomy picture for this evening."
