Poole Pirates claimed a 47-43 win over Wolverhampton Wolves at Monmore Green thanks to Chris Holder's victory in the final heat.
Holder (9+1), fresh from his European Grand Prix triumph on Saturday, led home team-mate Darcy Ward (9+1) for a Pirates 5-1 that completed a late turnaround for the visitors.
The Wolves moved 41-37 ahead when Freddie Lindgren (12) took his third win of the night in heat 13.
But Ludvig Lindgren (8+1) and Dennis Andersson (6+2) pulled off a 5-1 for the Pirates in heat 14 to level things at 42-42 and leave the stage set for Holder and Ward to complete the rescue act.
Holder took an early lead in heat 15 before Freddie Lindgren moved to the front on the back straight of the opening lap.
Both Poole riders managed to overtake the Swede on lap two and went on to secure the one-two finish.
That completed a bad night for the Wolves, who saw Nicolai Klindt taken away in an ambulance with an apparent shoulder injury after a crash in heat 12.
