Birmingham Brummies have announced the signing of British star Chris Harris.
The 31-year-old, known as 'Bomber', has agreed the deal - switching from Midlands rivals Coventry Bees.
Harris, who after six-years won't be competing in the Grand Prix next season, expressed his delight after signing with the Perry Barr outfit.
Harris will join the Selco Brummies as their new number one, replacing the departed Bjarne Pedersen.
The 31-year-old Harris joins on an 7.91 average and will spearhead the side alongside captain Danny King.
The Brummies management are delighted with the capture of Harris. Joint-team boss Phil Morris said: "Chris is the perfect type of rider we want at the Brummies.
"He's fully committed and the fans will always be assured that he will give 100 per cent to the Brummies."
