Coventry Bees have announced changes to their squad with Swedish starlet Mathias Thornblom and Czech Pepe Franc coming in.

The Bees have dropped Dane Henning Bager and New Zealand champion Jason Bunyan.

Thornblom comes in, as does Czech international Franc - who will double-up from Premier League Sheffield Tigers.

Coventry have made two changes to their squad in time for their home Elite League clash with the Swindon Robins this coming Friday.

Coventry's team boss Blayne Scroggins told the club's official website: "Mathias is young and will need a bit of time to settle, but he is so keen to come over and he has already had a couple of offers this season but chose Coventry.

"As for Josef, he brings some experience to the team. Josef is a great professional with positive attitude and I am sure he will fit in well."
