Lakeside v Coventry - Heat 7
Lakeside Hammers boosted their play-off hopes with a comfortable 55-40 victory over Coventry Bees in the Sky Sports Elite League on Monday night.
The Hammers made home advantage count at the compact Arena Essex Raceway venue against a Coventry side who were without talismanic captain Scott Nicholls.

Krzysztof Kasprzak stepped up in Nicholls's absence with a 20-point haul, however he lacked any support as the Bees slumped to an eighth league defeat.
Seb Ulamek was the star of the show for Lakeside, collecting three race wins on his debut ride, while Lewis Bridger (12+1) and Richard Lawson (10) also impressed for Lakeside, who have now won five meetings on the bounce.
Their latest victory was finely balanced after the early exchanges but four successive 5+1s from heats 7-10 put the Hammers out of sight.
Speaking afterwards, delighted Hammers captain Davey Watt told Sky Sports: "The boys are used to winning now. It drives you on and gives you more motivation to win the next one. We want to be better and better each time.
"It's a relaxed atmosphere (in the team). All the boys get along really well and now Seb is in the team, it's great."
Monday night's other Elite League meeting saw Belle Vue Aces ride away with a much-needed 57-37 victory over Eastbourne Eagles.
The prolific Matej Zagar (12+2) shone once again for the Aces, while Bjarne Pedersen (11) provided some consolation points for the visitors.
